An Open Letter About Legacy

This year I started a goal to reach 30 million people by 2030. It is a goal based on the idea that safety comes from community not being the biggest guy in the room. Not just any community, a well trained and educated community that values the lives of each other over the desire to prove oneself right. I look at trends instead of headlines, and with a changing world I believe we must adapt our skillsets to succeed when faced with new challenges.

I belief life has the most meaning when a person is committed to leaving the world better than they found it. I consider my work developing online courses and producing educational content to be a portion of that legacy. A giving back to my community, a path forward to a better world, and a facilitation of all humankind towards greater empathy and kindness towards one another.

So before the end of the year I will be releasing three courses dedicated to addressing a pain point in my community. Sexual Assault, Human Trafficking, and Domestic Violence all impact the individual, their families and their neighbors. As one of the wealthiest nations in the world it puzzles me that we still struggle with respecting the healthy boundaries and core values of each other, so much so that we would aggressively trespass against the safety and well being of another human.

As my call to action I hope you will join me in participation and in sharing the courses I am developing so that way the courses being developed can help reduce the barrier young women face in finding accessible safety education.

Public Courses Coming Soon…

Next week I will be launching the private online training course for the 15 probation officers I trained, after several rounds of improvements from their feedback I will start public courses which will become available. I believe as early as June public courses will go online for anyone to register and try out at least in an alpha status. As i continue to deliver training I will continue to build, improve, and create value for anyone interested in the topics I offer.

I am excited to start this portion of the process and hope everyone enjoys the upcoming content that is headed their way.

Progress Continues

Currently efforts are being focused on a customized Officer Safety and Negotiation training course being provided privately through CivSec to 15 probation officers.

It is my hope that user feedback, will enable improvements for their training which will also improve the quality of the public CivSec courses as well.

Ahead of Schedule

The CivSec Training Portal is ahead of schedule and the website portion of the functionality will likely be completed in the next three to six months. Most of what remains now is content development of the classes and further testing of content and website functionality.

Discounts for Early Supporters:
Each new online training course offered will provide discounts to those who sign up early while courses are being tested and refined as a thank you for feedback and input to ensure the greatest quality of training possible.

Courses will be developed, updated and improved as the companies resources improve to eventually include audio, video, 3D, and potentially learning games at some point.
